Crestpoint Building Maintenance LLC successfully completed the waterproofing works for the elevator pit at A Block, Al Shoala Building, Dubai. The project was carried out to eliminate active water leakage, prevent future seepage, and ensure long-term protection against water ingress and moisture-related damage.
The elevator pit area was thoroughly cleaned and inspected to identify the exact sources of water leakage and weak points within the structure. All dirt, loose particles, and contaminated water were removed to prepare a stable surface for the waterproofing works. A detailed assessment was carried out to determine the appropriate injection treatment strategy.
The waterproofing works began with PU foam injection to immediately stop active water leakage by sealing pressurized water entry points within the structure. This was followed by secondary injection material to permanently fill cracks, voids, and internal leakage paths, ensuring long-term sealing and structural protection.
After completing the injection treatment, the area was allowed to dry completely and was then tested to confirm leak-proof performance. Two coats of high-performance waterproofing protective coating were subsequently applied to enhance durability and provide additional protection against future moisture ingress.
The completed system provides long-term protection against water leakage, groundwater seepage, and structural deterioration. The elevator pit now benefits from improved durability, restored structural integrity, and reduced risk of future water-related damage.
This project was successfully completed within the approved budget and timeline, and is backed by a 10-Year Waterproofing Warranty, reflecting Crestpoint’s commitment to delivering reliable and long-lasting waterproofing solutions in Dubai.
