ROOF WATERPROOFING PROJECT – JUMEIRAH, DUBAI

Crestpoint Building Maintenance LLC successfully completed professional roof waterproofing works for the tiled roof area in Jumeirah, Dubai. The project was carried out to eliminate water leakage issues, improve waterproofing performance, and provide long-term protection against water ingress and environmental damage.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The existing tiled roof area was thoroughly inspected to identify leakage sources and weak points causing water seepage. The surface was then properly prepared through mechanical grinding and cleaning to ensure strong adhesion of the waterproofing materials. All dust, debris, and loose particles were removed to create a sound and stable substrate for the system application.

WATERPROOFING SYSTEM INSTALLATION

The waterproofing system started with the application of high-performance rubberized silicone coating as the first layer to seal the surface and block active leakage paths. A geotextile membrane was then installed over the treated area to improve strength, flexibility, and crack-bridging ability of the system.

After membrane installation, a second thick coat of rubberized silicone waterproofing was applied to create a seamless, durable, and highly elastic protective layer over the tiled roof surface, ensuring maximum waterproofing performance and long-term durability.

Controlled blocking of drainage outlets was carried out to perform testing, followed by a 48-hour water ponding test to verify the effectiveness and integrity of the waterproofing system. The results confirmed complete leak-proof performance.
