CrestPoint Building Maintenance LLC successfully completed a metal sheet roof waterproofing project at a private villa in Al Khawaneej, Dubai. The project was undertaken to improve roof waterproofing performance, prevent water leakage, and enhance the long-term durability of the existing metal roofing system.

Project Overview

The existing metal sheet roof was thoroughly inspected and prepared before waterproofing works commenced. Surface contaminants, dust, and debris were removed to ensure proper adhesion of the waterproofing system. Critical areas such as roof joints, overlaps, and penetrations were carefully treated to eliminate potential leakage points.

Waterproofing System Installation

A silicone reinforcement tape was installed at all critical joints and overlapping sections to strengthen vulnerable areas and improve waterproofing performance. Following the reinforcement works, a high-performance silicone waterproofing coating system was applied in multiple layers to create a seamless waterproof membrane across the roof surface.
